Breather holes

Most of the nibs we offer in this store have the option for cutting a shape from the usual round breather hole.

Cutting new breather holes can not be done on plated nibs. If you want a plated nib and a new hole then you need to order a non plated nib and add both breather hole and plating customizations.

Most of modern feeders do not take the air from the breather hole of the nib, so enlarging the hole will not affect the unit ink flow.

Available shape options are:

Heart - Keyhole - Keyhole Round Base - Triangle - 5 Pointed Star - 6 Pointed Star - Waterdrop - Chess Pawn - Hexagon - Pentagon - Diamond - Gear - Half Moon.

Price for this customization is 15€, VAT not included.

These breather holes are available for Jowo and Bock nibs. For other brands contact us.

Customized nibs are not returnable.
