Jowo #6 Steel Semi-flex

Jowo Stainless Steel Soft nib (also called Elastic or Flex by other sellers)  with ABS plastic or ebonite SuperFlow feeder. You can select in the drop down menu.

Size 6, that means that the feeder is 6 millimeters in diameter.

The housing is the standard Jowo 6 ABS plastic.

Modified by FPnibs to add flexibilty: up to 1 millimeter tines opening.

It is soft, that means you do need to apply a little pressure to open the tines.

Ebonite feeder has 3 ink canals to maximize ink flow to avoid railroading.

Works well with cartridges and converters, but bigger ink reservoir would be even better.

You must learn the limits of this nibs in order to avoid a permanent tines spread due to too much pressure. In this case we would not replace or repair the nib for free.

This nib is intended for professional calligraphers who want to do Copperplate or Spencerian with a standard fountain pen. The angle of the pen with the font slant is crucial for the nib performance. This nib is not intended for standard writing.

All our nibs are adjusted and tested to perform at their best if used properly.

Extra care must be taken when screwing and unscrewing the nib unit into your pen, because it may misalign the tines.
