Made by hand in the Principality of Asturias (Spain). All fountain pens feature an elegant single-body design, inspired by early 20th century models.
Ulpia fountain pens belonging to Model 117 have a cartridge or converter refill system. Wanting to preserve the lines of its older sister, the Ulpia Párix, the 117 has as its characteristic emblem its handmade brass threaded ring, polished and plated in 24k gold.
The Ulpia 117 are differentiated into three parts:
The body and cap: made of the best quality ebonite. Ebonite is vulcanized natural rubber known for its particular shine and warm touch, highly appreciated by collectors.
Clip and threaded ring: made of solid brass and engraved with a diamond point, they are later hand polished and plated in 24k gold.
The fountain pen comes in a specially designed Ulpia gift box.
